Creating Your AI Image
- Start by opening a new blank design in Canva.
- Navigate to Apps, and find ‘Magic Media‘. You can also use the search bar to locate it.
- Here, you’ll access the Text to Image tool, where you describe the image you want to create. For instance, you could use a sample prompt like:
“Chibi, female teacher, 3D, long black hair, Pixar”
Note: ‘Chibi’ refers to an anime style with exaggerated character features, like large eyes, a large head, and a small body.

Editing Your Image
If you like most of the image but need some tweaks, you can easily edit it. For example, you can erase a section of the image using Canva’s Magic Eraser tool. Sometimes, the AI may create something that’s not quite right, and this feature helps you make necessary adjustments. You can also add items into your image with Magic Edit. While experimenting with it, you can find creative ways to enhance your AI-generated image. Share your insights in the comments if you discover successful techniques.
Another option is to remove background and use the avatar with a transparent background. This allows you to create a sticker that you can use with your digital resoures, offering you endless possibilities.
